1. Netflix and Fill

We’re going to be taking a different approach on Netflix and Chill, and this version might even be better. Grab your favorite warm blanket, turn on some Netflix, grab your favorite foods and snacks, and just eat! No, don’t turn on a sad movie or a depressing show, but try watching a comedy or an inspirational film! Besides, you can never go wrong with some Adam Sandler. Filling up your tummy with the foods you enjoy the most while watching a good film, is a remedy guaranteed to uplift your soul.

2. Eucalyptus Dream

Have you gotten enough sleep? Sleep is an important part of your life, and without enough of it, it can be easy for your body to stress. Allow yourself to get some rest so that your body can completely unwind. A little secret to getting the maximum relaxation out of your sleep is using an essential oil like eucalyptus. Eucalyptus is proven to be stress-relieving and relaxing! If not eucalyptus, you can also use lavender! Whether you have an oil diffuser or just the oil itself, surround your room with eucalyptus, and just let yourself rest.

3. Bath

This particular pamper session idea is the oldest trick in the book, yet one of the most effective ones to this day. Stressing out may make your muscles tense up, and baths can help to relax them. Using bath bombs is a good idea for when you want to take baths because of its satisfying aesthetics and benefits. Just visit your local LUSH or Bath and Body Works to purchase one and relax your body and mind!

4. Furry Friends

There’s a reason why people say animals are our friends. Our furry friends are great with helping to relieve stress and anxiety! If you don’t have a pet yourself, you can visit your local pet store or shelter, or even a friend’s house that has a furry friend, and spend time with them! Sometimes, actions speak louder than words. If you don’t feel like talking about your feelings, or being asked what’s wrong, furry friends come to the rescue. Just cuddle and play with one of them for instant relief!

5. Read

If your life is too much to handle at the moment, get lost into a different story. Being a part of a divergent world, and being in the shoes of a person other than yourself, can help you temporarily forget about your own. Grab one of your favorite books or a book that you’ve been wanting to read, grab a cup of hot tea or coffee, and mollify your stress.
