It’s Travel Time

It’s the most wonderful time of the year… Well it’s almost that time of year.  Many people start dreaming of turkey filling their stomachs and mashed potatos and yams up to your eye balls.  Many of you  (like myself) went away to college.  Some may be driving distances from home… some may not.  Some of you may have to stay around school for Thanksgiving or be lucky enough to go home with a loving (or maybe not so loving) roommate.

Whatever the case travel is probably on your near horizon.  If you don’t have a car on campus, which many of you probably don’t, there are plenty of other alternative options that you can use and at a student discount.  Did you know that you don’t have to be 25 to rent car with studentrate and Hertz? If you have a license and are 20 years old you’re all set. And did I mention you get 10% off and pay no extra young renters fee?

If you live in or around a large city, one of the best and cheapest ways to travel to and fro (yes I said fro) is by bus. Odds are you’ll be traveling with other kids your age and could make some friends along the way. Megabus is a credible, reliable bus service that also offers 5% CASH BACK when you buy your tickets through [SR].

If leaving on a jet plane (you know you just sang that song in your head) is the only option, don’t worry there are student deals for that too.  You’re all in college here people, so use your heads and your computers and look for your discounts before you purchase any sort of transportation tickets or services.
