Hook Ups With Your Floormates: Why It’s A Bad Idea
You’d have to be a dumb ass to think this is a good idea in the first place. But if you really need me to spell it out for you, here is why you probably shouldn’t encourage hook ups with your floor mates. While those initial hangouts might be easy, convenient and fun, things could get real messy, real fast. Lock your doors and draw the blinds. Better yet, stop trying to achieve any hook ups with people who live on your floor.
She Could Be a Clinger
Let’s start with that. So, if you hook up with someone on your floor, chances are you will never be able to escape them. Don’t think you want to be hiding out in your room all semester long. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. She could practically move in since you guys live so close to one another. Say bye to having your own space. If you want to keep her out just put these things in your room.
Protecting Your Privacy
Gone are the days where you have any privacy. Say you want to invite another girl over to the apartment, that’ll probably stir the pot. You’ll never be able to have someone over without them asking “who was that?” Sounds like a drag I you ask me.
Bad Terms
If things end poorly, you’re fucked. That’ll be some unnecessary tension in the halls. No one wants to come home to hostility or the feeling that you might run into someone you don’t want to see. You’ll still have to live down the hall from them.
Every Encounter After Will Be Awkward
You Will Jeopardize Your Chances With Other Women In The Hood
It’ll totally backfire on you if you hookup with someone on your floor. Girls talk and word gets around fast. Girls most likely will not touch you if they know someone you’ve hooked up with.
Bad First Impression
Whether you want attention or not, people are going to talk. You’ll quickly get the reputation of being the guy who tries to get with his neighbors.
