8 Holiday Outfits To Get You Through The Season

With the holiday season quickly approaching, many of us are starting to look for cute outfits for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Fall is one of my favorite seasons personally, and I love online shopping when it’s dreary outside. So snuggle up and enjoy these inspirations for holiday outfits to wear this season whether your going pumpkin picking with your friends or you’re off to Christmas dinner with the fam!

1. Velvet

The holidays are the perfect time to wear velvet (some will argue it is the only time velvet is appropriate but we won’t go that far…). Velvet instantly pulls together any outfit with a holiday twist.  Bonus point it will keep you warm for your holiday party in cold temperatures.

2. Sequins

Sequins are absolutely gorgeous for the holidays! The festive material Christmas parties with your girlfriends, a winter formal at your sorority, or a fancy New Year’s Eve party! Don’t forget to accessorize with your favorite clutch and some cute jewelry, but keep the rest of your look simple so you don’t look like a Christmas tree.

4. Show a little leg.

I’m absolutely obsessed with these boots! Paired with stockings and a cute dress, these boots make this look absolutely precious! You can even pair them with an over-sized Christmas sweater for those ugly Christmas sweater competitions!

5. A classic lace dress.

This lace dress is perfect for Christmas dinner. The lace keeps it classy and sophisticated and you can pair it with some delicate accessories for a soft look.

6. Daytime Vibes.

For an edgier daytime look, pair a red suede moto jacket with your outfit. This one from LuLu’s is so cute and so soft! I love the look of suede during the holidays, especially this deep red color, and the best part is that it will keep you warm as daytime turns to night!

7. A burgundy jumpsuit.

This jumpsuit is perfect for those of us who do not have a very cold holiday season, and burgundy is THE color of the season. Pair it with a slouchy (and cozy) sweater for those evening rides through the pumpkin patches!

8. Add fur to make a statement.

If you don’t have at least one fur jacket in your closet for the holiday season, then you aren’t doing it right. Fur is perfect in the fall and even in the winter! You can dress it up or down by pairing it with some sunnies and jeans during the day, or with a snazzy dress for a holiday part at night!
