Here’s How To Get Out Of A Date If You’re Not Interested

When it comes to going on dates, there are going to be times where that first date with the guy or girl sucked majorly but yet, you stupidly promised a second date. Then when it comes time to go on that second date, you are wracking your brain trying to figure out how to get out of it! We all have been there and done that usually because the person we are supposed to go on the date with, is a very nice person but their chemistry or interest just wasn’t quite there. And we don’t want to hurt their feelings nor be a complete asshole just to get out of the date. Here’s how to get out of a date if you’re not interested.

Be honest

Getting out of a date doesn’t have to be some extreme strategized plan or drastic lie. If you are trying to get out of a date with a guy or girl who you feel isn’t your match, should always tell them the truth up front. Honesty is the best policy after all and the guy or girl deserves to know that you simply just realized that you aren’t interested. And who knows, you guys could possibly end up being friends after though that rarely happens.

Lie

Another way to get out of a date if telling the truth won’t work for you is to lie! Tell your date that you have a family emergency that needs your full attention or that your job called you in last minute to cover a shift. You can also say that you feel terribly sick all of the sudden and wouldn’t want them to catch what you have. Yea these are all infamous and generic lies but, they always work! That is until you excessively overuse them, and your date starts to realize that.
