Ashton Kutcher has never looked better. This 2011 film is classic with all of your favorite cast, like Natalie Portman. All of the jokes, laughter, and cliche romances, this film will keep you distracted while you have to stay inside! I believe I was in 8th grade when I first saw this movie, and I would highly recommend it.

2. The Vow 

If you don’t tear up every time you watch The Vow, you haven’t watched it enough! I can remember when this movie came out, I was a freshman in high school, and my friends and I had seen it in theaters. Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum are perfect in this heart-warming film! 

3. I Love You, Man 

This movie is funny, entertaining, and surely heartfelt. I actually saw this movie for the first time in a West Palm Beach hotel room, with my boyfriend. Stay upbeat during quarantine with this comical movie!

4. White Bird In A Blizzard 

Maybe I am naming my all-time favorite films, but this movie is far from dull. Starring Shailene Woodley, this eerie vibe will distract you from being stuck at home. This movie is a classic! Catch White Bird In A Blizzard on Netflix. Without giving away any spoilers, all I am going to say is that some people are not always what they seem. 

5. Dear John 

Personally, I think some of the best movies come out a while back. I have a sweet spot for romantic movies, and that is why Dear John is a classic. Join Amanda Seyfried in an uphill battle with emotions.

6. Mean Girls 

Okay, we may be seeing double here. Join Amanda Seyfried and Rachel McAdams AGAIN in the movie Mean Girls, along with Lindsey Lohan. This is the type of movie that no matter how many times you have seen it, it just doesn’t get old. Kick back, relax, and (if it’s Wednesday), wear pink!

7. Clinical 

Some of you may remember India Eisley from The Secret Life of The American Teenager, she played ‘Amy’. In the film, clinical, viewer discretion is advised. Personally, I cannot get enough of spooky movies and thrillers, but if this isn’t for you, just keep on reading. 

8. The Descendants 

A classic 2011 film starring Shailene Woodley, The Descendants is a classic. A perfect combination of drama, excitement, and action, this movie is available on Hulu! Shailene Woodley is a very talented actress, and I have loved every film she has been in! Rating 10/10!

Talk about laughter, Jennifer Anniston, Emma Roberts and more… what more can we ask? This movie has all of the uplifting qualities you will need to keep yourself distracted! This movie will have you laughing and you won’t be able to stop looking at the screen. Not to mention, who doesn’t love a movie with Jen Anniston?

10. Mara 

For all of you horror movie thrill-seeking people out there, this one is for you. No spoilers, don’t worry, but this movie will definetly keep you at the edge of your seat! If you have sleep paralysis, though, just a warning, this movie may not be for you. I saw this movie by myself, not going to lie. I like to keep myself distracted, and I was able to watch this no problem, but not everyone is the same.

11. Mystic River 

This movie has gotten amazing reviews, and just by google reviews alone, 88% of those who watched it, liked it. Starring Sean Penn, this dramatic mystery will surely send a shiver down your spine. If horror and other thrillers aren’t for you, I’d sit this one out. But for everyone else, this movie is for you! Catch Mystic River on Netflix.

12. Gone Baby Gone 

Very similar to ‘Mystic River’, if action and thrill aren’t for you, keep on scrolling. This movie is centered around south Boston and sheds awareness on how many children have gone missing, primarily in the late ’90s and early 2000s. A great film, just be fair warned. This movie is not for everyone but will keep you distracted.

13. Marley & Me 

Jennifer Anniston is talented to say the absolute least. I saw this movie with my family in 2008 when it came out, and this movie is much more than a typical family depiction. Not a dry eye in the house, this one is a classic. I love Marley & Me!

14. This Is 40 

I absolutely love this movie! You will be cracking up during this entire film! Crack a cold one and enjoy this movie. The perfect combination of drama, romance, and comedy, you won’t want to miss out. Personally, any movie with Paul Rudd are amazing.

I actually had to see this film for school, but nonetheless, it is totally worth it. Who said school movies need to be boring and uninteresting? Catch this one on Netflix! Slightly set in the future, this movie is anything but dull.

16. Shutter Island 

Last but not least, the movie Shutter Island is a real classic. This movie is intense and will leave you wondering what type of ending you want it to have. Catch Leonardo DiCaprio in this thrilling film. The first time I saw this film was with my boyfriend, which is good because you WILL need someone to watch this with. It is a little on the creepy side!
