1. McNay Art Museum

The McNay Art Museum is a museum that primarily focuses on 19th-20th century American And European art by famous artists like Diego Rivera and Pablo Picasso. There are plenty spots to snap some pics and a beautiful garden to relax and chill. The museum is free on Thursdays from 4 to 9 pm.

2.  Slab Cinema

Want to enjoy an outdoor movie? Now you can! Grab some blankets and some pillows. Slab Cinema plays classic films like The Princess Bride, Jaws and The Sandlot. But they also play the recent ones that just came out like, Coco and Moana. The best part is that its all for FREE.

3. Artpace San Antonio

If you are not into the classic art, come to Artpace San Antonio and see the most innovative art from artists around the world.

4.  Visit a farmers market!

The pearl has a farmers market every Saturday or Sunday, rain or shine. There is live music and you can also get free cooking lessons.

5.  Go to the historic market square.

Experience the San Antonio culture by walking through the market square. A three block plaza filled with restaurants and locally operated shops, the market square is the largest Mexican market in the U.S.

6. Take a dip in the San Pedro Swimming Pool!

Go swimming in one of the largest public swimming pools in San Antonio, Texas. After a hot day, enjoy a dip in the pool and some beautiful scenery of tall cypress trees.

7. Enjoy a 24-minute light show.

Go visit the San Fernando Cathedral and Main Plaza to go see an amazing light show that completely transforms the church. The light show happens on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9, 9:30 and 10 pm.

8.  Visit the Historic Pearl!

Walk through the Pearl and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Come during the day and enjoy some nice yoga but come during the night and enjoy the beautiful lights and shops around the Pearl.

The River Walk is a perfect place to relax with some family or to get some work done and take in the beautiful scenery.

10. Stroll through the Japanese Tea Gardens.

The garden is open to community and is completely free. The park being nearly a 100 years old, it has koi fish and a beautiful waterfall.
