Exotic Restaurants From Around The World Right In Boston

Everyone wants to tour the world and sample different cuisines, but this may be costly. That’s why we’ve put together a list of exotic restaurants in Boston that serve international cuisine; you’ll get to taste meals from all corners of the world without needing the expensive plane ticket!

First, let us whisk you away to the gorgeous Caribbean islands, where you may indulge in cuisine from locations like Cuba. Sure, you won’t be near the beach, but we guarantee that your taste buds will be completely satisfied.

1. Gustazo (Cuban)

First of the exotic restaurants on the list, Gustazo! To begin, there are numerous sitting possibilities; for a festive evening, sit close or at the bar, which features a dazzling wall structure depicting the island and an eclectic salsa playlist that puts one in the mood for intimate club-dancing. Drinks at the bar include sangria of the day or a refreshing mojito! If you are not in the mood to sit at the bar, you can eat in a less crowded area across the room at the tables; either way, the menu’s lively tapas and entrées will make up for it. To top the seating off, there are gorgeous tables set up outside for the warmer summer nights! Plates on the menu include seafood such as ceviche, tacos de cangrejo, and grilled octopus. If you are not interested in seafood, try the croquetas de jamon or ask your server for the empanada of the day! There are plenty of gluten free options as well as vegetarian choices. You can choose from a wide variety of small or large plates depending on how hungry you are! Never leave without satisfying your stomach with dessert first; go for either the tres leches cake or churros con chocolate to ensure your stomach is happily full. The incredible staff is there to make everything ten times better and to guarantee your visit to Gustazo is satisfying and fun!

Moving further down the equator, allow us to give you another great example of the many exotic restaurants to try that will make you feel like you are in South America without having to take the lengthy plane ride!

2. La Bodega (Uruguayan)

This next exotic restaurant has an ambience like no other! La Bodega serves Uruguayan foods such as empanadas, pastel de carne, milanesa, choripan and so much more. Their extensive drink menu includes cocktails such as Sangria A La Casa. Better than a Cadbury Bunny, and Spanish 75. The location of the restaurant is situated in a small town-feel which makes you feel right at home while you are brought authentic recipes and innovative cocktails. Of course there is dessert! This includes creamy Flan con Dulce De Leche, delicious Alfajores, and mouth watering Dark Chocolate Tart. The service is top-notch, you will not be required to wait too long for anything and all the staff are there to help you with whatever you need. The servers are friendly, the environment is inviting and unique, and of course the food is absolutely delicious! You really can not go wrong when you visit this exotic restaurant. Overall, la Bodega is a fun experience filled with amazing food and in an incredible atmosphere!

There are no bad European restaurants in Boston, but we still wanted to name one that you just have to try!

3. Giulia (Italian)

Giulia is one of the exotic restaurants you will not want to miss! It is difficult to get a reservation for a reason; the food is absolutely show stopping. Chef Micheal Pagliarini is well known for his pasta mastery that is seen in complex dishes such as his whole wheat fazzoletti with basil pesto, pine nuts and parmigiano. Other dishes include: paccheri ’alla bolognese (beef, pork and parmigiano, shown below),  pappardelle with wild boar (black trumpet, juniper and parmigiano), and  buckwheat pizzoccheri (artichoke, asparagus and fontina). There are also plenty of appetizers including chilled octopus with parsley, potato, smoked onion and citrus or salt roasted beets with snap peas, spiced yogurt and sesame. Don’t forget about the dessert; try pistachio gelato with raspberry caramel, chocolate shavings and anise pizelle or strawberry sorbetto with rose meringue and cookie butter! The service is professional and friendly and the atmosphere will make you feel like you took the flight all the way to Italy.
