12 Easy Air Fryer Recipes To Make Dinner Quick & Yummy

Air Fryer Recipes saved my life because I love food but am really, really lazy. I thought I would have to miss out on the world of homemade fried food until my girlfriend got me an Air Fryer. In no time, it became my go-to, because it takes little to no effort to make dinner now. That is why I compiled 12 easy and cheap air fryer recipes to make dinner quick and easy! I also have not eaten today as of writing this article, so these recipes are certified to be the best for the laziest of starving people.

Hot Dogs

This is the quickest recipe on this list, but do not underestimate its ability to fill you up. The air fryer will crisp the outside of the hot dog bun while keeping the inside juicy. It may take a little time to get the timing just right, but I never made a hot dog that was either too burnt or too cooked. You can even toast the bun with the hot dog to make it just that much better. It doesn’t matter if you are cooking for yourself, or the entire family, a fried hot dog in just 10 minutes will be one of your specialties!

Chicken Wings

Every Sunday Night Football game my dad would order chicken wings, which I loved, but after a while got old, and sometimes even expensive. Luckily though, ever since they got an air fryer, we make chicken wings instead. Not only was the taste spot on to what we like, but the cost was extremely low to feed 3 people. My dad added them to the Sunday dinner line up. If they get the approval of a middle-aged father, they will pass anyone’s taste test.

Turkey Breast

This is the longest recipe on this list, but it is still short in terms of authentic tasting Thanksgiving day turkey. This recipe is perfect especially for a Thanksgiving date, make a few of your favorite sides, and have a cute holiday alone with the one you love most. I found this recipe to be the most informative, with even more information if you want to get bigger with the turkey!

Corn on the Cob

I have to give props to my girlfriend for making me a believer in corn on the cob. In the past, I never liked corn because it was either too mushy or watery for my taste. Well, my girlfriend found a corn on the cob recipe that used no liquid, which was already more appealing than any other corn I have encountered in my lifetime. When she presented me with a properly seasoned cob of buttery corn, I was hesitant. This corn recipe though changed everything I have known about corn. I ended up making the same recipe the next night too. I highly suggest this corn recipe video as the final product that gave me a revelation of sorts.

Fish and Chips

Fish and chips were not in my food cycle because I was way too lazy to fry anything, and the grease scared me. So when I found a 15-minute fish and chips recipe for my air fryer, I knew I couldn’t shake it until I tried it, and I’m lucky I did. Now, getting them just right will take some practice, but at 15 minutes to readiness, you can play with it to get it just right. Some tips for beginners are to not let the fish touch during cooking and to make sure you get as much moisture as possible out of the fish. Also, this is one of the few recipes that may require you to preheat, so make sure to research according to your air fryer model!

Donut Holes

I loved donuts, but I was too lazy to fry them. That is why the air fryer saved my donut life. Now I make them for me and my nieces all the time, and the little ones approve. They are quick to make which is good for you because you will want to keep making and eating them until you get sick. You might ask why are donuts on a list of dinners? To that I say, do not judge my life choices. The best recipe I found is this video here, watch it and become a believer of the fried donut dinner lifestyle.

Pretzel Bites

The ingredients needed for pretzel bites are probably already laying around your house. Some flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Make some dough, and form them into little balls. If you have a little more dough you can freeze the pretzel balls too, and you do not have to wait for them to thaw! The time needed will vary depending on each model, so do research into how long to let them cook or you might burn your pretzels.

Frozen Foods

Okay, so I know this might not seem as appealing right off the bat, but take my word for it. Stop using your microwave to cook your favorite frozen foods, and instead use the air fryer! Anything you microwave is twice as good in the air fryer. Also, you can cook foods together, such as when I make my Pizza Rolls and french fries in the same compartment.

Air Fryer S’mores

Of course, after dinner, you might have a bit of a sweet tooth, well that where this unique recipe comes into play. These air fryer s’mores will make you want to pitch a tent in your kitchen. All you need is the three classic ingredients and in just a few short minutes you will have the iconic s’mores flavor. My favorite part is how it gets that golden brown color every time without burning. You can see the recipe here.
