1. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara vs. L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise

I used to spend $32.00 on Better Than Sex Mascara every 6 months, and let me tell you it was most definitely not worth it. The mascara itself is impressive, the size and bristles of the wand make application flawlessly easy! But what if I told you there was a drug store version that was less than half the price of this one? Well, L’Oreal’s Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise is identical to Too Faced’s. Much like the Better Than Sex Mascara, L’Oreals features a thick brush for easy application, along with this, the packaging is identical too! The L’Oreal is only $9.99,  so save yourself the money and start buying drug store makeup!

2. Mac Cosmetics Matte Lipstick in Velvet Teddy vs. NYX Cosmetics Matte Lipstick in Euro Trash

We all know Mac Cosmetics has the best lipsticks, and fo,r the most part, they are pretty affordable; however, when you’re going through a tube of lipstick every month, it can become a little pricy. Velvet Teddy is a beautiful neutral lipstick with a hint of pink, which will go with any makeup look! Euro Trash is an almost identical colour that can be purchased at NYX Cosmetics. While Sephora sells this MAC lipstick for $24.00, NYX sells its identical one for just $9.00. So if you wanna save some money, try switching to drug store makeup!

3. Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder vs. Airspun Loose Face Powder

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder has been a long time favourite of the makeup communities. It is lightweight and effortless to blend. However, it costs $51.00, and that is without tax. If you need a cheaper version then look no further, try the Airspun Loose Face Powder. Much like the Laura Mercier one, this too is a translucent setting powder that leaves a flawless finish, and it is only $12.00. Try it out and, who knows you might even think to yourself, “why the hell did I ever think I needed to spend $51.00 on setting powder??”.

It has a felt tip that allows for easy and precise application, the only downside is that it costs 27.00. Meanwhile, Maybelline’s Master Precise All Day Liquid Eye Liner only costs 10,.99 and it also has a great felt tip and also is smudge-proof. As I am sure you can tell, these two palettes are identical, crazy, right? When I first saw this dupe, I was blown away because I mean come on! They look exactly the same. From the number of eyeshadow colours to shades, these palettes might as well be twins. Here’s the catch though, the Kat Von D one costs 55.00 while the Makeup Revolution one costs 15.00.
