DIY Memory Jar

This is a perfect place to store all those keepsakes you have lying around or jot down and save your favorite memories before you leave for college in the fall. I am notorious for saving old movie ticket stubs, receipts, notes, etc. and they sit in my walled until it breaks because it’s too full. I have a drawer full of notes from middle school that I don’t know what to do with, and here’s a simple solution to get rid of all the clutter but still keep those memories. It’s also a great place to write a memory down and store so when you’re having a bad day you can look back. And they’re easy to make, so when it’s full you can just make another!

All you need is a jar, paint or ribbons or whatever else you’d like the decorate the jar with, and keepsakes to put inside! Or leave it empty and put your new memories inside it.

Just clean out the jar, and decorate the outside. You can paint a design, use pictures on the outside, put ribbons or decals on it, or anything else crafty. Now you can save all your high school memories in one place and have a simple way to look when school is overwhelming or you’re just simply having a bad day.
