Dessert shops are a niche type of store and are definitely worth visiting. Usually, love and care is put into crafting the product, and the owner or owners are there everyday working and getting to know their customers. These two cafes in Bellingham are must stop shops if you have a sweet tooth or have a special occasion coming up and want to order custom made baked goods and you need to check them out!

This cute and chic dessert shop and cafe is a must stop in Bellingham, WA that you need to check out. It’s a five minute walk from the downtown bus station, so if you aren’t able to drive you can easily bus. There’s some parking nearby, but otherwise street parking is your best bet for driving.
There’s plenty of seating in this large cafe and the pink, black, gray and white aesthetic are pleasing to the eye and add an elegant feeling to the cafe. There’s barstool seating near one of the windows, and another area near the other window is a cozy corner with pink velvet couches and chairs. It’s a good place to chat with friends and take Instagram worthy pics. The bright but not harsh lighting inside provides for some nice photos.
Every dessert is made in their kitchen and is absolutely divine.
Their New York Style Cheesecake has the perfect amount of sweetness, not overly sugary, but not super cream cheesy. The crust is also not super difficult to chew or break through and adds a nice texture to the creamy cake part.
Their cakes are very moist and the portion sizes are good, not too filling, but you don’t feel like you deserve more for what you pay. They have all the treats for the day in their display case, and also have treats from the previous day at a discounted price on their counter display.
In addition to the desserts, they sell coffee, tea, wine, kombucha, cider and beer. So you can sip on some wine (or another beverage of your choice) while enjoying a sweet treat in a cafe that makes you feel like your dining in a classy cafe in a big city.
They also accept custom orders, make wedding cakes and can host parties.
