Anyone who is in college knows what a struggle snacking can be. Trying to find a snack that satisfies our hunger without ruining our appetite can be pretty challenging . Whether you’re up all night writing a paper or trying to survive until lunchtime, here are five easy snacks that will help cure your munchies.
1. Nutella S’mores
If you love s’mores, but don’t happen to have a bonfire nearby, you can still enjoy the oh-so-tasty treat. Of course you can use traditional chocolate, but for a little extra boost of flavor – substitute with Nutella! Just pop the mini sandwich into the microwave for 15 seconds and you’re all set.
2. Homemade Popcorn Trail Mix
Who doesn’t love popcorn? Add some of your favorite candy (or some dried fruit and pretzels for a healthier version) to this low calorie snack and say goodbye to those awkward stomach growls in the middle of your lecture.
3. Yogurt-Dipped Fruit
Yogurt dipped fruit is not only delicious, but also super easy to make. Just dip your favorite fruit into some Greek yogurt, freeze, and enjoy!
If you’re looking for a savory snack to cure your hunger, your prayers have been answered. All you need is a tortilla, your favorite cream cheese, turkey or ham, and you’re good to go. Roll it all up, cut into slices and you’ve got a tasty pinwheel. Your taste buds will never know what hit them.
5. Ants on a Log
Throwing it back to second grade, here’s a quick way to get your daily veggie fix and does of protein at the same time. Add a smear of peanut butter, topped with chocolate chips, seeds or raisins on celery sticks and enjoy this cute and cheap snack!
