Top 5 Caribbean Spots Ranked For Your Vacation

It is no secret how exhilarating the Caribbeans is, and with school being out and the weather as nice as it is, it’s that time of the year again when you wonder where the best location to spend your summer/fall vacation is. With that being said, here are the top 5 places in the Caribbeans to spend your vacation and have the experience of a lifetime!

1. The Bahamas

Everyone loves the Bahamas. Just saying the name wets your lips, whether or not you’ve been there to have the experience of a lifetime. Widely known for the various scuba diving sites in the Andros Barrier Reef, The Bahamas is the perfect vacation hub for anyone looking to have an out of this world adventure.

There is literally something for everyone, as you can even go on a swimming pigs tour, and swim the pigs if you’d like! The Bahamas are full of nonstop entertainment and activities, meaning you will almost never be in your actual hotel.

You can ride ATV’s as part of the tour of the island, which in itself is an amazing experience. If you do go here, one attraction you must go to is Aquaventure, an ancient-themed water park which is full of surprises. They have a large open water marine habitat which will make you feel like you’re in a real life Spongebob episode. With The Bahamas having much more to offer, I know your stay here will be more than worth your while.

2. Kingston, Jamaica

Second stop, Jamaica! Probably the most famous out of all the Caribbean nations, Jamaica is everything you could wish for in a vacation, and much more. This country is stacked with a rich history of raggae music. Kingston is home to the Bob Marley museum, where you can pay respect to the late raggae artist.

If you’re adventurous, you can go hiking or biking at the famous Blue Mountains. If you want a more relaxed experience, go to Fort Clarence Beach and enjoy the beautiful scenery in the great hot summer weather.

Don’t forget how famous Jamaica is for their alcohol, especially rum. If you’re a fan like myself, you will find alcohol virtually everywhere you go, so no need to worry about that.

3. Cancun, Mexico

While Mexico is not a part of the Caribbean, Cancun sits right on the edge of Mexico, bordering the Caribbean Sea. Cancun is famous for its fascinating attractions, ranging from the tours of the ancient Chichen Itza pyramids, to their Reef and Shipwreck Snorkeling tours (underwater), where you explore and experience the beautiful sea life of Cancun. If you’re feeling daring, head to Xplor park, where you can go rafting, zip line into the water, and explore the underground water systems.

There is so much to do in Cancun, you will never want to leave, and that’s just a little taste of the experience you’ll have in such a beautiful and vibrant city.

There are numerous national parks in Cuba where you can just admire the beautiful scenery, including the famous Isla de la Juventud, which has cave paintings from thousands of years ago still on their walls!

If you want to go diving, head to Jardines De La Reina (named by Christopher Columbus himself), for an experience you’ll never forget. You are just about guaranteed to see sharks and crocodiles during your dive, so this is for those who are super adventurous. It is the best possible clause for a bet between you and your buddies, so what are you waiting for???

5. Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Punta Cana boasts great hotel services, and all year amazing weather. The town is well known for its long stretching beaches with access from the hotels themselves, where you can go and forget about reality through kayaking, zip lining, or just laying on the sand for a little while.
