Honestly, you can never go wrong with any Two Door Cinema Club songs. This one feels particularly fitting for summer though but definitely check out all their songs for year-round jams! This is easily one of the best indie summer jams!

Crystal Fighters’ music features a mix of genres and instruments inspired heavily by traditional Spanish sounds. It was hard to narrow down their songs as their music is generally upbeat and has many feel-good summer tunes!

The Head and the Heart: “All We Ever Knew”

Indie folk band, The Head and the Heart’s “All We Ever Knew,” is a more chill summer tune that is great for car rides or just relaxing in the sun. If you are in the mood for more acoustic-sounding music, then make sure to check out their work!

Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros: “40 Day Dream”

This song captures the dreamlike nature of long summer days going into quiet nights. It’s hard to describe, but you’ll definitely be singing along to this nostalgic song before it ends!

Both of George Ezra’s albums with his characteristic voice are filled with cheerful summer jams. With a title like “Wanted on Voyage” for his first album, the songs certainly will make you want to travel and vacation this summer!

WALK THE MOON: “Anna Sun” and “Tightrope”

You’ve probably heard of “Shut Up and Dance” but WALK THE MOON actually has a ton of other danceable tracks. These two classic indie-pop/rock hits are go-to favorites of mine for the summertime.

Urban Cone: “Come Back to Me”

Another longtime favorite of mine, Urban Cone’s “Come Back to Me” never fails to lift the mood. If you are looking for an upbeat track, then this song will leave you dancing in a feel-good mood.
