Beauty Remedies Using Simple Ingredients

These beauty remedies using simple ingredients will help you obtain the beautiful skin and hair that you always desired. They are great because you can make them right in your own home and do not have to go out of your way to purchase more items than you normally would. Because the ingredients to these remedies are simple and easy to make you will not be spending outrageous prices to look beautiful, but will be bringing your own natural beauty to light and still have money in your pocket.

1. Egg yolk hair mask

Eggs are your rock when it comes to strong and healthy hair. They have a rich source of protein and amino acids both of which will make your hair stronger and healthier, in turn helping it to grow longer. The eggs provide hydration for your hair and your scalp and also contain Vitamin D. A sufficient amount Vitamin D can prevent your hair from falling out. If you were to choose olive oil as your second ingredient that would provide omega-3 fatty acids. These fatty acids play an important roll in growth, shine, and strength. Choosing coconut oil will give your a protective layer for the proteins in your hair.

Ingredients: 2 egg yolks, 2 tablespoons of olive oil or coconut oil, and a bit of water

Instructions: Blend all of these ingredients together and massage into your damp clean hair. Pop a shower cap over your head and leave the mask on for 30 to 60 minutes. After the time is up, jump back in the shower to shampoo and condition.

This mask is great because it contains ingredients that you are already going to have to buy during your next trip to the grocery store!

2. Oatmeal facial

This is a mask that is great for any skin type. Oatmeal does a great job of soaking up that excess oil on your skin making you less prone to those nasty pimples. But, it also helps my dry skinned facial fans because its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties remove dead skin cells and hydrate the skin. The oats serve as a great exfoliant. This mask also contains yogurt, egg, and honey. All of these ingredients are great for those who want an anti aging face mask, but will make anyones skin look flawless.  The yogurt helps dissolve dead skin and tighten your pores. The egg, rich in protein, also helps close up large pores and promotes wrinkle free skin, great for oily skin. The honey works with the oatmeal to prevent acne with its natural anti bacterial properties along with slowing down aging thanks to its antioxidants. The honey is also extremely moisturizing and soothing leaving you with skin that glows.

Ingredients: 1/2 cup hot (not boiling) water, 1/3 cup oatmeal, 2 tablespoons plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey, 1 egg.

Instructions: mix the water and oatmeal together and allow it to sit for 2-3 minutes. Then blend the rest of the ingredients in with the oatmeal. Apply a thin layer of the mixture to your face letting it sit for 10-15 minutes. Rinse the mask off with warm water and moisturize.

This is a face mask that will help you with wrinkles, acne, dry skin, oil skin, or a mixture of any of these. This mask out of other beauty remedies will make literally anyone’s skin to look like a queen.

3. Coconut oil and honey hair mask

This hair mask is for my thinner haired ladies and gents. As we talked about before, coconut oil is really going to serve to protect the proteins in your hair and hair follicles. Some people have a lack of that protein in their hair follicles causing hair to fall out and not be as strong, causing breakage. That is not a good look. Lucky for you this hair mask can help. The honey in the mask keeps the moisture in your hair reducing breakage and preventing damage. The less your hair is breaking off the faster it will grow.

Ingredients: 2 to 4 tablespoons of coconut oil (depending on how much hair your have) and 1 tablespoon of honey

Instructions: Blend the ingredients together and deposit the mask in small sections throughout your clean and damp hair. Pop that shower cap on for 30 to 60 minutes and when time is up shampoo and condition the mask out.

4. Yogurt and honey facial

This mask is going to even out your skin texture and your skin tone helping you have perfect skin without applying a layer of makeup over it. You will naturally look flawless and can feel comfortable in your own even skin. The lactate acid in yogurt is what helps dissolve dead skin cells so for your dry patches of skin, this is going to be what you need. It has anti bacterial and anti fungal properties that provide great nutrients for your skin and will help prevent wrinkles and fine lines. The honey will get rid of any acne that you have on your face. Honey is anti bacterial just like the yogurt so it will help acne as well as any sores or cuts you may have. It treats acne as well as prevents it. As we talked about before, the honey will help reduce wrinkles and make your skin glow. It also is clarifying as it opens up your pores making them easy to unclog. The turmeric power is a flowering plant that comes from the ginger family. It has properties that coincide with honey and yogurt that will help even out the discoloration in your skin.

Ingredients: 1 tablespoon of natural, plain yogurt, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder.

Instructions: Blend the ingredients together. Apply a thin layer to your face and let stand for 20-30 minutes. When time is up, rinse with warm water and moisturize.

This facial will leave you with glowing skin that is even in texture and tone.
