Morgan Chelf

"Morgan Chelf is a former high fashion model and a student at the University of Southern California, where she is studying public relations and business administration. Morgan is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and the Delta Tau chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma, where she serves on the Public Relations committee. During the summer of 2016, Morgan worked as a wealth management intern at deVere Group in New York City. Here she deepened client trust, maintained customer database and controlled the Brexit crisis by writing formal communications on changing strategies. She analyzed clients’ daily financials and reported to the regional manager, converts frozen UK pensions to QROPS with overseas jurisdictions and mined online data to identify new customers. In the spring of 2016, Morgan interned for JUMP Investors in Los Angeles where she evaluated potential clients based on market and investment criteria, assisted with a Kickstarter campaign shoot and brainstormed and contributed in marketing meetings with CEO Randall Kaplan. During the summer of 2015, Morgan interned for Weir & Associates in Hong Kong, where she worked on law research, case management, and legal public relations and marketing. She also interned for the Hong Kong branch of GNX Brands, where she performed marketing functions for global distribution. In the spring of 2015, Morgan worked on the Public Relations team for the Pacific Film Foundation in Malibu, California. She worked on content development, project management, and media pitches. During the 2014-2015 school year, Morgan worked as an assignment desk editor and graphic artist for Annenberg TV News. She created over the shoulder and full screen graphics for newscasts, scheduled interviews, managed all news tips, and developed story ideas for the producers. From 2009-2013, Morgan resided in New York City where she modeled full-time for IMG Models. Clients of Morgan’s include Vogue, D&G, Cosmopolitan, Ralph Lauren, Victoria’s Secret, Michael Kors, Nordstrom, DVF, Seventeen, Hollister, and Marie Claire. Between her extensive travels for international bookings and contract negotiations, Morgan served as owner and property manager for one residential unit of 342 W 21st St Inc. Morgan is currently still a shareholder. Prior to moving to New York City at age 16, Morgan attended primary school in Laguna Niguel, California. She grew up traveling with her club soccer team, became team captain for her school’s Junior Varsity team, and was accepted into the Health & Medical Occupations Academy within her high school. She also enjoyed running Varsity hurdles as a freshman for her school’s nationally ranked track & field team and writing for her school’s award winning newspaper. Today, Morgan is passionate about trying unfamiliar things and meeting people from unusual places. Although she still works part-time in fashion, Morgan is currently focusing on graduating in the spring of 2017. She hopes to someday work in integrated marketing and move back to her home in New York City."
