5 Reasons I’m Excited To Start At Western Sydney University
I’ve only been a student at Western Sydney University for 1 and a half years and I have to say, studying here has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. There are so many things that I look forward to when I wake up early in the morning. Here are the top 5 reasons I’m excited to start at Western Sydney University!
1. The friends you’ll make
One of New Year’s resolutions this year was to work more on my social life. Why? Because the people you meet are really amazing and you’ll be able to connect with them in many different ways!
2. The food is to die for
The food in the Parramatta South campus is really good! They have multiple cafes to choose from, so there is always a good variety. There’s an Oliver Brown, Piccolo Me and a few others. I go to the Fusion Bar, which is near the library in the Paramatta South Campus (the one next to the subway). Tip of advice: if you’re a regular, the servers may give you extra chips if you’re really nice.
3. The assignments are beneficial
No matter what major you are in, the work you do is beneficial in many ways. The professors push you to do your best work possible.

4. Student Life is fun
The university is thriving with club activities and there is something for everyone. I volunteer my time with the student newspaper by giving photos of student life and I’m in a few uni clubs that run fun events during the semesters!
5. Diversity
Diversity is something that Western Sydney University takes pride in. Like I said earlier, there are many people to connect yourself with, so don’t have to go through university alone!
