Working out is so difficult, and if you just aren’t feeling motivated there is little to no hope for you to even begin. Everyone has felt this way at one point or another, so there are luckily easy-(ier) lazy exercises anyone can try! Keep reading for 10 of the best lazy exercises that anyone can try doing on the floor.
1. The classic sit-up.
The classic sit-up. It seems obvious but should not be over-looked. This exercise is truly fabulous- why? Because you are able to get rock hard abs, but still able to stay lying on the floor. You can literally lay anywhere whilst doing this exercise!
2. Bicycle crunches.
Let’s be real, when you’re feeling lazy the last thing you want to do is have to go outside, put a helmet on and go and ride your bike. But never fear, because the bicycle crunch exercise is here to fulfill part of your lazy work out.
3. Leg raises.
Leg Raises are a perfect workout for your abdominal muscles, and you guessed it, you can do this work out on the floor. Not to mention it is super easy so it’s perfect for beginners!
4. The plank.
Unfortunately, we’re not talking about the fad ‘planking’ where you lie face down on the floor. However, with this plank you are able to stay on the floor whilst also giving your body a superb workout!
5. Hip raises.
Hip raises are great for your lower back and abdominals, and it is another exercise that only involves lifting half your body off the floor (but you will need your head on the floor so don’t worry about making your ponytail perfect).
6. The ‘100’.
The 100 is an exercise that involves lying on your back with your knees up and doing small pumps with your hand. A perfect exercise if you’re wanting to get into pilates and also stay on the floor whilst doing exercise!
7. Double Leg Stretch.
The double leg stretch is a fabulous exercise for abs and legs. What’s great about this exercise is that you can do this at your own pace and still get results!
8. The Superman.
We all want to have toned bodies like superheroes, let’s be honest. The superman exercise can help you get toned and fit and it gives you the opportunity to lie on your stomach too.
9. The inner-thigh lift.
A perfect exercise for toning and strengthening your thighs. This pilates move will make sure you’re getting the best work out, whilst still staying on the floor (plus you get to lean your head on your arm for extra comfort)
10. Oblique Criss-Crosses.
The oblique criss cross benefits so many parts of your body, plus this lazy exercise involves twisting your body, so you get that stretch for your back without getting up.
