A Typical Day Of A Bond University Student

I decided to run through the typical day of a Bond University student, as I thought it could be relatable but also could help out any new Bondies starting in the January semester! I am going to do an hour by hour look at what you could expect from a typical day as a Bond University student. Here goes!

7:00 a.m.

Wake up and head to the Bond University Gym (all students get free membership and it’s an amazing gym, so definitely worth making the most of)! If the weather is nice, perhaps contemplate a few laps in the pool?

8:00 a.m.

On your way back to your room to freshen up, why not grab some brekkie and a coffee from Don’s? They have a great range, and best of all? The wait is considerably less than at Lakeside if you are in a rush!

9:00 a.m.

Go to class! Make sure you take a jacket, even if it’s quite hot outside, because the lecture theatres always seem to be cold! I sometimes don’t know how they manage it, but it is just a fact of life at Bond!

10:00 a.m.

You’ll likely still be in class at this time, so make sure you stay on track and don’t get distracted by the latest and greatest memes on Facebook when you should be taking notes!

11:00 a.m.

Head to the library or MLC to get in some much-needed study! Maybe go for round 2 of coffee if you’re feeling a pick-me-up? Papyrus is close by and you could even grab some morning tea if you need it!

12:00 p.m.

Don’t forget to explore under the arch and check out what’s going on. During this time on selected days there are often clubs and societies promoting and selling tickets to the upcoming social events! You can even score some nice, affordable Bond University Merchandise on particular days.

1:00 p.m.

Now’s the time to wander over to Lakeside for a spot of lunch. Lots of different choices, hot or cold, and even Bond Express if you just want to grab something and head back to your study!

2:00 p.m.

Chances are it’ll be class time again, so make sure you’ve left enough time to get from wherever you are to your class and not be running late! There are few things worse than having the tutor stop speaking while you try and find a place to sit.

3:00 p.m.

Why not take this opportunity to go back to your room for a much-deserved freshen-up before the rest of your afternoon? Get ready for whatever you’ve got scheduled for the night, and perhaps write a list of things you need to be doing for uni in the coming days.

4:00 p.m.

This may be when you have your practice/training for your club or society. The chances are that this will occur on campus but in some instances, particularly for speciality sports, they can be held off-campus at special gyms or other locations.

5:00 p.m.

Most trainings probably go for more than one hour, so you will have a lot of opportunities to meet some great new friends and really feel a part of the club or society that you have joined. To learn more about the clubs and societies that are on offer here at Bond, check out my other article which tackles just that!

6:00 p.m.

Now you have the chance to head to Lakeside for a bit to eat, don’t miss your opportunity! You can grab something quick and easy, or wait a little longer for something a little more fancy! Don’t forget to stop by Bond Express for some dessert or even a little pre-planning for a late night study snack!

7:00 p.m.

If you are keen for a quiet night, head back to your room and chill out, or even meet up with some friends from your level or building in the common room and have a fun night catching up! Otherwise, on a Thursday night you can always head to Don’s for a night of partying!

There is always so much going on at Bond University, and you are guaranteed to never have a dull day here. Times are going to get pretty busy throughout the semester so I would recommend planning out your days to make sure you leave time for all they things you need to do!
