10 Work Outs You Should Try To Get That Bikini Body

Everyone wants that bikini body when that cold winter finally fades and those bikinis start popping up everywhere on the coastline. But a bikini body doesn’t appear overnight. With some hard work and dedication, you will be able to carve out your own hardcore abs and toned arms. You will look so good in that bikini! Here are 10 workouts that you should try to get that bikini body in time for summer!

1. Jogging

Tie on your sneakers and go! You don’t need any other special equipment than your own two feet and a pair of shoes. Jogging can burn an enormous amount of calories especially if you can stick to it. This is a great exercise to do if you are restarting your fitness journey and want to be alone or if you have a partner that’s committed to as many laps or miles as you are. Competition is always a good motivator.

2. Pilates

You don’t need external weights to tone your body into perfection. Your body is already your greatest weight! Remember you aren’t training just to get a bikini body; part of your health journey is making sure your body can take care of itself. By using your own body weight, you are training your body to be able to carry your own weight and support your personal lifestyle.

3. Yoga

Everyone needs a source of calm in their life and yoga can give you that. While yoga stretches out your body and strengthens your muscles and core, you are also learning how to embrace the meditative practices and promote tranquility in your body. This is a great exercise for someone who wants to work out but also needs moments of quietness and peace in their life.

4. Aerial Silks

This workout might start out awkwardly. You could fumble around to get the right movements or tangle yourself within the silk, but once you master the basics, you start feeling like you’re flying or floating. It is a feeling definitely worth all the fumbling and mistakes. This is not only an exercise that will train your muscles but will also give you a sense of wonder and excitement for every class.

5. Resistance Bands

One of the cheapest ways to have a home gym experience without storing bulky gym equipment around your apartment or spending an extraordinary amount of cash to fund your own equipment is resistance bands! Resistance bands test your muscles with the sheer amount of exercises that you can do. Every part of your body can be tested against the resistance bands to add a little more pressure to your average body exercises. Also, once you feel like you’ve mastered the resistance bands, you can upgrade to a more resistant band and it won’t cost you a small fortune!

6. Dancing

One of the reasons why people skip out on exercising is they just don’t have fun doing it. The endorphins you get from exercise is great post-workout but you suffer through thirty minutes, minimum, to get those endorphins. Dancing is a great way to have fun and exercise without noticing you are exercising. There doesn’t have to be specific rules if you don’t want there to be. You just keep your body moving and your heartbeat up and you’re grooving along to the music while sweating like crazy.

7. Hula Hoop

Here’s another exercise that will take your mind off the fact that you are exercising! Your goal is simple- keep the hoop around your waist and don’t let it fall for as long as possible. You can start off with keeping the hoop around your waist for five seconds, then twenty, and then a solid minute. In your attempts to accomplish this new goal, you aren’t paying attention to the fact that you are sweating your butt off or how sore your core is. But your body will definitely remind you about this exercise in the morning!

8. Pole Dancing

When you are at the gym in your t-shirt and leggings with sweat drenching your clothes and dripping down your body, you don’t tend to feel very sexy. And isn’t the point of having a great bikini body to feel confident and sexy about yourself? Your process towards a beautiful bikini body shouldn’t make you feel bad about yourself. You can try pole dancing! Not only will pulling yourself up and around the pole be a great work out for your arms and core, but you will also walk out of class just feeling yourself.

9. Cycling

If you spent your childhood biking from one end of the street to the next, then you will love picking up the good hobby again for your bikini body workout. You have great memories associated with a bicycle and those good memories will always bring a smile to your face when you pick up your bike for your morning ride. Once you climb back on that bike, you will wonder why you didn’t start this earlier!

10. Rock Climbing

A great reason to try rock climbing is that instant feedback. One of the ruts that everyone falls into is not being able to see the results of your hard work. You go to the gym day in and day out and you don’t feel like your body is changing. With rock climbing, you are facing new obstacles everyday and everyday, you’ve reach one more goal that you haven’t the day before. You will always see changes as you figure out where your hands or feet should go and how far you need to reach to go to your goals.
