I personally fit role of being the mother and therapist. Being the mother of the friend group can be stressful but amazing because your friends know who to trust with certain situations. The mother of a friend group  can have a huge influence to how some friends may make decisions for opportunities and situations.  If you’re constantly looking out for friends or always providing advice, there’s a chance you’re the mother of your friend group. Being the mother of a friend group is actually fun! If you’re trying to find your role in a friendship, it’s time to analyze a few scenarios and situations to help determine if you’re the mom! 1. You’re Always Looking Out For Your Friends

The mother of the friend group is always keeping their eyes open for a friend. Whether it’s making sure a friend doesn’t drink too much at a party or get their heart broke by a crush, the mother is always ready to save a friend! This is a sign you’re the mom of your friend group.

2. You’re Straight Up About Disliking Your Friends Partner

As the mom of my friend group, I let my friends know I dislike their boyfriend or girlfriend. We sense this sort of energy that our friend can’t feel. Most important, we can see through people and notice their true intentions. Mothers are protective of anything they love! So that means being the mom of your friend group makes you the protector.

3. You Resolve Conflict In The Group

If you find yourself being the glue to fix issues or always making sure everyone get alone, you’re the mother! You dislike the drama between friends because you generally like it when everyone gets along! This is a sign you’re the mom of your friend group.

You’re often called a mood killer or boring because you prefer to chill at home and read a book instead of partying all night. Moms of the friend group would rather relax than have to deal with being a designated driver or taking care of someone who’s too drunk.

As the mother of my friend group, I always remind my friends about their mistakes so it doesn’t happen again! Yes, it sounds like I’m nagging but I’d rather see my friends do better than fall back in the hole of hurt and betrayal!

7. You Care About Their Safety

Every mother of the friend group has told their friend to text them once they get home after a late event! I’ve always made sure that my friends get home safely or getting the right amount of nutrition in their diet.

8. You Provide Advice And You’re Always Right!

This is my favorite sign because it’s a major fact! We provide the advice and our friends usually ignore it! Once they get their heartbroken or took an L, they regret not listening to us because we knew the outcome!

9. You’re Always Prepared!

If you’re bag is full of snacks, medicine and hand sanitizer, then you are the mother of your friend group! Your friends usually come for you to get some snacks or an Advil to minimize period pain! Your bag will be full and heavy but at least you’ll be helping people out! This is the sign you’re the mother of your friend group!

10. You’re A Ride Or Die For Your Friends

You always got your friends back when there’s conflict or dealing with certain situations. You’re the mother of the group, so that means you’re always around to support and protect a friend!
