10 Trendy Bermuda Shorts Outfits You’ll Want ASAP

A lot of trends from the 2000s are making a comeback lately. Tiny sunglasses, chokers and halter tops are back and bigger than ever. But one fashion piece that I never thought would make a return are Bermuda shorts. They were huge when I was in elementary school. Every girl rocked her plaid knee-length shorts on the playground. And every girl had them in a plethora of colors and patterns. They were great because they were comfy and easy to wear. But one thing they weren’t was cute. I have so many photos of me in ill-fitting Bermuda shorts that make me cringe every time my parents pull out the family photo album. The great thing about all these trends making a comeback though is that they get cuter and cooler the second time around. The Bermuda shorts that have been hitting the scene lately are seriously so fashionable and I’m living for the trend. Especially because short shorts are so overplayed and I’m ready for some change! Here are 10 Bermuda shorts that will give you all the early 2000s nostalgia, but in the best way possible.

1. Playful Print

These Bermudas are awesome because they’re a comfy cotton pair! These would be ideal for lounging around during the summer, especially because the floral pattern screams warmth!

Bermudas are great for preppy girls because they’re a little more modest. Plus, they often come in fun prints and patterns so they would be great for seersucker, plaid and even Lily Pulitzer!

Who says long shorts can’t be hot? Just because you’re more covered up than normal doesn’t mean that you have to play it safe! These shorts have so many holes that it leaves little to the imagination, but that’s what I love about them.

This outfit really reminds me of my elementary playground days. It’s exactly what I would’ve worn back in the day when all that really mattered was comfort. But hey, comfortability is still super important! These shorts are great for a sports game or even just going to the store.

A great aspect of Bermuda shorts is their androgenous capabilities. Because of their longer length, you can play with men’s fashion more. By mixing a loose-fitting pair of shorts and some heels you can pull together a super cool look!

The best thing about jean shorts is how versatile they are. You can dress them up with a blouse or wear a plain tank top and keep it cool and casual. Bermudas shorts are no different!
