Let’s be honest, are you really living your best dorm life if you don’t have fairy lights incorporated into your decor? Probably not. Unfortunately, a lot of girls feel like fairy lights are cliche ways to decorate your dorm room. In reality, fairy lights cannot only add to your dorm decor, but they also offer a calming presence in contrast to the harsh overhead lighting often found in dorm rooms. So, here are 15 ways to decorate your dorm room with fairy lights!

1. The Ever Classic Lighted Picture Wall

This is a fun way to decorate your dorm room to display all your cute photos of your friends and families back home. Have a Polaroid camera? Take pictures with your friends and roommates to hang on your wall as well. Also, places like Costco, Walmart and Walgreen’s will print your pictures directly from your phone. All you need is a few strands of fairy lights, command hooks/pins, and a way to attach your pictures such as close pins.

Just because you want fairy lights in your dorm, does not mean that your dorm needs to be covered in them.
