The end of the semester is here and while many of us will be heading home, a lot of us will be still staying around Temple and in Philly this summer. A nice break from classes isn’t enough to celebrate, but luckily Philadelphia is a great summer spot and always has something going on to entertain us. With the warm weather sweeping in, keep reading for a list of fun things to do around Temple this summer!
Enjoy yoga? Like the outdoors? Join Pop Up Yoga Philly, while they host a yoga class in the Magic Gardens on May 12th from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Afterwards enjoy a tour of the gardens! Tickets are available here.
Come view beautiful and uniquely mastered works of art where ubran art meets nature. Converse with local artists as you gaze at their pieces. Art In The Open in Philadelphia is from May 13th to May 15th and is held right by the Schuylkill River Trail from 9a.m-5p.m. The event is free! Anyone is welcome and encouraged to come out and engage in the art.
Apparently Harbor Park will be opening early this year, starting in the beginning of May. Be sure to be one of the first ones there! Lay out on a hammock, try some delicious ice cream, and take a walk around Penn’s Landing.
