1. Braided Bun

For a fun twist on the trendy top knot, split your high ponytail into two sections and braid each. Twist these braids in opposite directions towards each other and wrap around the elastic, securing the ends with bobby pins.

2. Sock Bun

If you don’t have the sock bun product they sell in stores, you can simply cut the toe off a pair of old socks and roll the tube of the sock to form a nice circle. From here, put the rolled sock at the base of your ponytail and cover with the loose strands of your ponytail, tucking them under with bobby pins. If your hair is super long, whatever pieces are sticking out, braid and wrap around the base of your bun.

4. Half-Up Top Kno

Very similar to the regular top knot, this hairstyle is all about the twist and tuck. Take a handful of hair on each side of your head, gathering it at the back and twist. Create a knot, tucking the ends underneath and fasten with bobby pins.
