Note, for the stove top, simply take 1 cup of milk and set on low, carefully stir until steaming but not bubbling and remove from the stove top.   • 1 cup water
  • 1 bag black tea
  • 4 ounces of espresso or strong coffee
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp simple syrup


Begin by taking a small saucepan over medium high heat and whisk together your chai spices, water and tea bag. Bring to a rolling boil. Then remove from heat and let sit for 1 minute, 2 minutes if you want really strong. Next, add your espresso to your maker brew. Add finished espresso to your mug. Strain your tea and pour over the top of your coffee. Rinse your saucepan before adding in your milk on medium low heat. Add your syrup. We want bubbles forming but not simmering. If you want foam, use your hand frother and foam your steamed milk. This should take 1 minute. Let the foam rest for 30 seconds. Add in your syrup and milk mixture and stir thoroughly before adding your light foam to the top. Serve and enjoy.
