We all love a good break from school, but I’m sure there are plenty of things you’re missing about JWU right now.
From karaoke nights, Battle of the Campus, movie nights, Snoball, Wildcat Wahoo, and every event in between, we were all able to keep busy and entertained, as well as make memories that we will hold onto forever!
Whether it was watching our extremely talented wildcats play hockey at The Dunk, or our amazingly tough rugby boys take home a win right on Harborside, JWU sports are definitely a highlight during the year and are certainly something we’re missing about JWU right now.
We all know how important the Wildcat Café is to us, especially during finals week. Something about having our very own Starbucks, right in our own library, just makes life so much easier and convenient when you need that oh so crucial pick-me-up. Unfortunately, my mom tells me we won’t be getting a Starbucks in our house anytime soon.
Ugh! Wildcat Café’s marshmallow bars literally give me life.
Honestly, who isn’t missing Build Your Own Burrito?
The downtown campus of JWU Providence has such a fun city beat to it, and for those of us at our suburban or rural homes, it’s definitely missed.
The Harborside campus is definitely one of JWU’s many gems. With it’s gorgeous greenery and stunning view of the Providence river, Harborside is a favorite to many at JWU!
We’ve all gotten so used to living with 40+ people (and noise that comes with them), it’s hard adjusting to a quiet household.
I had the pleasure of meeting and working with so many amazing JWU seniors this year, and while I was sad to see them all go, I wish them tons of luck and success in their future endeavors!
What I miss the most about JWU are the amazing people I’ve met. From classmates to roommates, old friends and new friends, we’ve laughed together, cried together, gone on some pretty cool adventures, and learned a lot about each other (as well as a little about ourselves). I can’t wait to see you all when we’re back!
You’ve worked hard, now it’s time to play hard! While missing all of these JWU benefits may be hard, do not fret, you’ll get to enjoy them all again when you return. See you in the fall, Wildcats.
