10 Reasons Being Single During the Holidays is Awesome
The holiday season is one of the best times of the year to be single. Between the food, the music (and the eggnog), there’s always something to do. Here is a list of reasons why being single during the holidays is, despite what others may thing, awesome!
1. The parties.
Christmas and New Year’s Eve parties are the best when you’re single. You can flirt and make out with whoever you want, guilt-free, and come home at whatever ungodly hour you choose.
2. More free time.
Everyone is a lazy cat on the inside and lucky for you, you don’t have to do anything or go anywhere you don’t want to. You’re completely Star Wars, The Hobbit and C.O.D free for the entire season. Instead, you have more free time to focus on more important things; like cuticle care, soaking in the bath, reading a book or even learning to cook a new dish.

3. You don’t have to shave…EVER!
Being single = hairy legs all day, every day! Personally one of my fave reasons why being single during the holidays is awesome.
4. More girl time.
Hanging out with your girlfriends is so much more fun without a guy tagging along, complaining every time you step into Sephora.
5. Netflix is all yours!
That’s right, you don’t have to share your ShowTime with anybody. And let’s be honest, Scandal waits for no one!
6. You can let your inner dude run free.
We may be girls, but we burp and fart like every other human. We love to stay in bed till noon, in our sweatpants, oversized sweaters and messy buns. As a single lady this season, you can!
7. You get to play the field.
There’s nothing more exciting than the anticipation of meeting a new hot guy every time you go out (or multiple hot guys). You can probably get a free dinner every night with a new guy if you play your cards right!
8. No fights!
Couple fights can really ruin the holidays, but guess what – you don’t have that problem!

9. Nag-free, hour-long makeup routine time!
Being single means you can take as long as you want to get ready without a guy complaining every five minutes!
10. No “man gifts”.
The best part is, you don’t have to go through the gut wrenching, jaw clenching, hair pulling ordeal of buying presents for men. You’re welcome.
