1. What are the different types of residence halls on campus?

There are various options for housing at Temple. Temple has two communal bath dorms segregated by floor (Peabody and Johnson&Hardwick), three suite style halls with private bathrooms (White Hall, 1300, and 1940), and three apartment style residence halls with a living room and a kitchen (Morgan North, Morgan South, and Temple Towers). 2. Are there any facilities for student with disabilities?

Yes! There is disability accommodations with the housing at Temple. These can be provided by (apart from giving your housing deposit) giving the appropriate medical records to the Office of Disability Resources and Services. 5. Does my housing have early move-in/arrival?

Housing at Temple does have early move-in, around 3 to 4 days prior to the original move in dates. They especially suit students who come for the latest or International Orientation. You will just need to sign an application online. Find more information here and here!

6. Are there any events or activities that will benefit me while living in the residence halls?

RAs in all residence halls usually have activities and events to engage students to interact with each other such as free pizza, movie nights, or blood donations (to name a few examples). Also, there is Residence Hall Association where students can campaign to be part of the specific Residence Hall council, which is beneficial for a resume. Lastly, students can apply to RAs as well! 7. Can I stay in the dorms and residence halls during school breaks?

Yes, you can! At least more than a month before a major break, emails and reminders are sent to students that they can apply for an extension for free, so that they have access to their residence hall. In that time, students can stay at their dorm during vacation breaks. This is done with no additional cost, unless the deadline has been surpassed. There is always plenty of time to apply, so I would suggest to go ahead and do the extension, even though you may not be in residence hall over the break. Learn more about it here!

10. Is there summer housing?

If you have summer courses, Temple has housing available for students. It may not be in the residence hall that you’ve stayed through out the year because a lot of the halls are closed for cleaning and maintenance.
